Invisalign and clear aligners use a series of custom-made, removable aligners to gradually straighten your teeth without traditional brackets and wires. Each aligner gently guides your teeth towards their planned positions as you progress through treatment.
At Park St Dental Practice in Mona Vale, we use modern digital scanning and treatment planning to assess your teeth, bite and smile. Your clear aligner treatment is individually planned according to your alignment, bite, dental health and the changes you would like to achieve.
Invisalign and clear aligners may be used to treat a range of alignment concerns, including crowded or crooked teeth, gaps between teeth and some bite irregularities. A comprehensive dental assessment will help determine whether clear aligner treatment is suitable for your individual needs.
Invisalign and clear aligners offer a discreet and convenient way to straighten your teeth without traditional braces. At Park St Dental Practice in Mona Vale, clear aligner treatment is individually planned to improve the alignment of your teeth while considering your smile, bite, oral health and treatment goals.
Invisalign & clear aligners are made from transparent material and fit closely over your teeth, making them much less noticeable than traditional metal braces. This makes clear aligner treatment a popular choice for adults and teenagers who would prefer a more discreet way to straighten their teeth.
Clear aligners can be removed for eating, drinking, brushing and flossing. This allows you to continue enjoying most of your usual foods and maintain your normal oral hygiene routine throughout treatment.
Each aligner is custom-made to fit your teeth and gradually guide them towards their planned positions. The smooth aligner material avoids the metal brackets and wires used with traditional braces, although some temporary pressure or tightness is normal as your teeth begin to move.
Because Invisalign and clear aligners are removable, you can brush and floss your teeth normally during treatment. Straighter teeth may also make crowded or overlapping areas easier to clean and maintain over the long term.
At Park St Dental Practice in Mona Vale, Invisalign and clear aligner treatment begins with a comprehensive assessment and personalised planning. Using digital scanning and modern treatment-planning technology, Dr Neda Gorji and our team assess your teeth, bite, smile and alignment to determine whether clear aligner treatment is suitable for you and plan your treatment around your individual needs.
Your Invisalign and clear aligner journey begins with a consultation at Park St Dental Practice in Mona Vale. We assess your smile, alignment, bite and treatment needs to determine whether clear aligners may be suitable for you.
Using our modern intraoral scanner, we create a detailed 3D digital scan of your teeth and bite. This helps us assess your tooth alignment and carefully plan the movements required throughout your Invisalign or clear aligner treatment.
Following your assessment and digital scan, we develop a personalised clear aligner treatment plan based on your individual needs. We discuss your treatment plan and whether Invisalign or clear aligners are suitable for you.
At Park St Dental Practice in Mona Vale, every Invisalign and clear aligner journey is carefully planned around your individual needs. Following your consultation and digital assessment, Dr Neda Gorji and our dental team develop a personalised treatment plan to gradually move your teeth towards their planned positions. We guide you throughout your treatment and monitor your progress as your smile changes.
Once your personalised treatment plan is ready, your custom-made clear aligners are prepared for you. We explain how to wear and care for your aligners and what to expect as you begin your treatment.
Your aligners are worn as directed and changed progressively throughout treatment. Each set applies gentle, controlled forces to gradually guide your teeth towards their planned positions.
Regular reviews allow us to monitor your tooth movement, bite and progress. Where required, your treatment plan may be adjusted to help keep your Invisalign or clear aligner treatment progressing as planned.
Once your clear aligner treatment is complete, retainers are usually recommended to help maintain your new tooth positions. We provide ongoing reviews and advice to help you protect your straighter smile.
