Dental veneers are thin, custom-made restorations designed to cover the front surface of teeth and improve their shape, colour, size and overall appearance. They are commonly used in cosmetic dentistry to create a more balanced and natural-looking smile.
Veneers may be an option for teeth that are chipped, worn, discoloured, uneven or irregularly shaped, as well as selected gaps between teeth. Depending on your individual needs and treatment goals, porcelain veneers or composite veneers may be considered.
At Park St Dental Practice in Mona Vale, on Sydney’s Northern Beaches, veneer treatment is carefully planned around your natural teeth, facial features, smile characteristics and bite. Our approach focuses on creating a result that complements your individual smile while preserving natural tooth structure wherever clinically appropriate.
Every smile is different. A cosmetic consultation allows us to assess your teeth, discuss what you would like to change and determine whether veneers or another cosmetic dental treatment may be the most suitable option for you.
Dental Veneers can improve the appearance of your smile while maintaining a natural look that complements your individual features. At Park St Dental Practice in Mona Vale, veneer treatment is carefully planned around your teeth, smile, facial features and individual cosmetic goals.
At Park St Dental Practice, highly aesthetic dental veneers are individually designed to complement your natural teeth and facial features. Careful consideration of tooth shape, colour, proportion and symmetry can help create a balanced smile that still looks like you.
Dental veneers can be used to improve the appearance of teeth that are discoloured, irregularly shaped, too small or disproportionate to the surrounding teeth. Treatment is individually planned according to your smile and cosmetic goals.
Veneers may help restore the appearance of selected chipped, worn or uneven teeth by improving their visible shape and surface. Before recommending treatment, we assess your teeth and bite to determine whether veneers are an appropriate option.
Porcelain and cosmetic veneers are designed to provide a durable cosmetic result when appropriately planned, placed and cared for. Good oral hygiene, regular dental examinations and avoiding excessive forces on the teeth can help maintain your veneers over time.
At Park St Dental Practice in Mona Vale on Sydney’s Northern Beaches, your veneer treatment is carefully planned around your smile, natural teeth, facial features and individual cosmetic goals.
Your veneer journey begins with a personalised cosmetic consultation. We assess your teeth, gums, bite and overall smile, discuss what you would like to change and explore whether dental veneers are suitable for your individual needs and goals.
Digital scans, clinical photographs and careful smile assessment allow us to evaluate your teeth, bite and smile proportions. Your veneer treatment can then be planned around your natural teeth, facial features and the result you would like to achieve.
Following your assessment and planning, we develop a personalised veneer treatment plan. We discuss the recommended type of veneers, tooth shape and shade, treatment stages, expected outcomes and the options available to help achieve a natural-looking smile.
Both porcelain and composite veneers can improve the appearance of your smile, but they differ in their materials, treatment process, durability, maintenance and cost. At Park St Dental Practice in Mona Vale on Sydney’s Northern Beaches, we assess your teeth, bite, smile and cosmetic goals to help determine which veneer option may be most suitable for you.
Porcelain veneers are thin, custom-made ceramic restorations bonded to the front surface of the teeth. They are individually designed for shape, shade and proportion to create a natural-looking smile. Porcelain offers excellent colour stability and resistance to staining and is generally more durable than composite resin. Treatment usually involves careful preparation where required, digital scanning and custom fabrication before placement.
Composite veneers, also known as composite resin veneers or composite bonding, use tooth-coloured resin that is carefully applied and shaped directly onto the teeth. They can improve selected chips, gaps, uneven edges, tooth shape and colour, often with less tooth preparation and fewer appointments. Composite resin may be more susceptible to staining, wear and chipping than porcelain, but it can often be repaired or modified more easily.
There is no single veneer option that is right for everyone. The choice between porcelain and composite veneers depends on your natural teeth, bite, desired cosmetic changes, treatment preferences, maintenance expectations and budget. During your cosmetic consultation, we can explain the advantages and limitations of each option and recommend an approach based on your individual smile and treatment goals.
At Park St Dental Practice in Mona Vale, every veneer treatment is carefully planned around your natural teeth, facial features, bite and cosmetic goals. Following your consultation and smile assessment, Dr Neda Gorji and our dental team develop a personalised treatment plan designed to enhance your smile while preserving natural tooth structure wherever clinically appropriate.
Your journey begins with a comprehensive cosmetic consultation. We assess your teeth, gums, bite and smile, discuss the changes you would like to make and determine whether porcelain veneers, composite veneers or another cosmetic treatment may be suitable for you.
Digital scans, clinical photographs and careful smile analysis allow us to plan your veneer treatment around your tooth shape, colour, proportions, facial features and bite. Where appropriate, digital technology can help us visualise and carefully plan your new smile before treatment begins.
Depending on the type of veneer selected, your teeth may require minimal or conservative preparation. Porcelain veneers are individually designed and custom-made before being carefully bonded to the teeth, while composite veneers are generally shaped directly onto the teeth using tooth-coloured resin.
Once your veneers are completed, we carefully assess their shape, shade, bite and overall appearance. Regular dental examinations, good oral hygiene and appropriate maintenance can help protect your veneers and natural teeth and support the long-term health and appearance of your smile.
At Park St Dental Practice in Mona Vale, on Sydney’s Northern Beaches, dental veneers and cosmetic dental treatments are carefully planned around your individual smile.
